|Recommended: YesEfficient Maintenance — The maintenance staff at 244 Gilman is fast, efficient, and always friendly, and I especially want to mention one great experience I had with Marzel. I put in a request and he showed up so quickly, was really kind, and fixed the issue right away while making sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It was such a positive interaction and really made me appreciate how well the building is taken care of.
|Recommended: YesI have really enjoyed living at this property. — Living here is very nice. It is always quiet, so that I am able to get my homework done. I have recommended this apartment complex to some friends and will continue to do so.
|Recommended: YesGreat Location, Big Rooms, Nice Furnishing, Parking is Tight — I really liked living here. The rooms were big, the living room was nicely furnished. The parking garage is very tight, and the entrance on the side is a little sketchy sometimes. Also, the fraternity directly behind the building can be very loud sometimes. All things considered though, this was a very nice place to live for the price.
|Recommended: YesGrounds suck but inside apartment is great — The grounds are dirty and broken glass and trash everywhere. But once inside the apartment, it’s a great apartment.
|Recommended: NoHorrible place to live — This place was loud and poorly managed. There were construction, parties, garbage trucks though all hours of the night and day. The manage staff was unprofessional and rude. When I expressed my frustrations with the neighbors that had parties that lasted until 4 am they told me it’s not their problem and to call the police though it was in my lease agreement that being a community disturbance would be reason for a fine. A window fell out of our wall and broke our tv. No one ever fixed it. Our fridge broke and the maintenance man told us to move the fridge ourselves and check the back of it. Overall horrible place to live.
|Recommended: YesWorks for a year but is slightly underwhelming — I think its a nice space but with half-broken appliances and terrible AC circulation. I mainly pay for the location, but it gets super noisy at night. Overall an ok experience, but I will be living somewhere else next year.
|Recommended: NoNot Great — I had a leaky ceiling which was only fixed after multiple complaints, and there is a lot of partying on the balcony which can be very noisy during the day and late at night.

|Recommended: YesGreat Location and Decent Living Spaces — The management is super nice and easy to reach. Some of the appliances in our apartment were pretty dated, but it all worked fine, and anytime we had a problem, management was happy to come check it out. My only complaint is one time I locked myself out of my bedroom and I called to have someone come and open it, but they did not tell me over the phone that that service would cost over 100 Regardless, that was my mistake and if that's my only complaint, they're pretty great Just don't lock yourself out of your room
|Recommended: YesGreat apartment, parking is tight — The apartment itself was great and had very minimal issues. The biggest problem for me was parking. It is convenient having parking in the building but often times I had to park on the street or in a lot regardless because the driveway was blocked or there were no available spaces in the garage. The laundry area was nice and other common spaces like the mailboxes and elevator always felt clean. The 4th floor patio is great, but often found that other tenants took their pets up there to go to the bathroom which was not fun to walk out to. As I said, overall the location, layout, and apartment as a whole were pretty good. Obviously can't beat a place right off State St.

|Recommended: NoThe apartments are great, parking here is stressful and unreliable — Aside from the one month delay of our move in maintenance requests, maintenance has been great. The apartment lay out is perfect for two people. The parking, however, has been a nightmare which is really sad considering I pay 200.00 month. It is really unfortunate that there isn't a better system for when people park illegally. Additionally, not having an assigned spot can be rather annoying and contributes to anxiety about always wondering will I even have a spot to park in when I get home I would recommend the apartments, however if I am being completely honest, I would tell them to just park down the street with the Hub for only 20 more per month where they have assigned parking and staff always on site to assist with illegal parking.
|Recommended: NoNice apartment, Management needs major improvement — I want to start by saying this is a nice apartment. I share a bedroom and both of us have full-sized beds that fit comfortably in the room. The apartment is cozy, and our neighbors are friendly. Overall I like coming home at night and being in our apartment. BUT it is extremely hard to justify the price of this apartment considering many of our appliances were broken outdated when we moved in. The air conditioner heater was broken in the living room and it took them 3 tries to finally fix it which honestly was not done well because there are still cracks in the frames of it and when the maintenance man came he blamed us for the dirt that was built up in it when we had only just moved in . On that note, the apartment was dirty when we moved it and it needed a major deep clean. The thermostat in one of the bedrooms was broken off and the closet organizer in another bedroom was falling off the wall. Drains are constantly clogged and our dishwasher does not drain properly. The biggest problem out of them all is out the refrigerator. When we moved to the freezer was not working and it has not worked since then we arrived in August, it's nearly November now . Each time we request maintenance on the fridge they either claim nothing is wrong or they fix it but within a couple of days, it is back to its usual state of not working. We have requested a new fridge and reimbursement for the food we lost but have not heard back yet. Overall I wish I could be happy with this apartment, but I cannot justify it when I am paying to loose money on food.
